Who is Red Ants Pants? That’s a story in itself. Ten years ago Sarah Calhoun founded the company based on the need for women’s work wear that was made to fit women. Based in the small Montana community of White Sulphur Springs, Red Ants Pants has grown to include a storefront, distribution center, and international headquarters that are all located in a historic saddle shop.
Sarah Calhoun has become an inspiration to entrepreneurs nationwide and is known for her dedication to supporting rural communities. She’s been featured in 2016 in The New York Times and The Huffington Post. In 2015, Red Ants Pants was one of only 100 businesses selected nationwide to participate in the Small Business Majority’s Small Business Leadership Summit in Washington, DC and was named the National Women in Business Champion for the Small Business Administration in 2012.
The Red Ants Pants Foundation was created in 2011 and launched its first program – the Red Ants Pants Music Festival, attended by over 6,000 fans. In 2016 a record was set with 16,000 attendees.
